Thank you Jesus for a successful surgery for one of my family members, Jay. After only a few weeks post injury, the doctors at Duke Sports Medicine performed a successful ACL repair. Praise God, once the doctors entered his knee they found that his injury was not as bad as they had initially thought. Please remember to keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery and that he would heed the doctors advice and let the healing take place before he returns to activity. We give you all the praise Jesus.
Each week we post some of our prayer requests, prayer requests we have received from others and any praise reports. We hope that you would remember these requests, and lift them up in your personal time talking with God.
This week we ask that you would again remember Matthew in Forsyth County Jail. He has asked for special prayer as his family is experiencing the sickness of a loved one. Matthew needs strength and uplifting as he struggles with this difficult time feeling alone separated from his family. We pray that he would know that he is not alone and our savior is the great comforter and can sustain him through this tough time.
Connor, in Hillsboro, has written us this week and has asked for prayer for his upcoming release. Connor has spent the last eighteen months incarcerated and is nearing his release. Though Connor is only twenty-three he fears how much has changed since his incarceration began. This seems to be universal amongst those close to release. We ask that he would keep his heart devoted to Christ and his transition would be one that glorifies God.

AMEN! Our site is fully functional again and we have A LOT to share. Over the past few weeks God has provided us several opportunities to share his greatness and all he has done not only for me personally, but for this ministry that belongs to HIM!
On May 28th we were fortunate that God allowed us to preach at Glenn Grove Holy Church in Mebane. Accompanied by my Associate Pastor and a few others from New Covenant Fellowship Church we shared how great our God truly is and reminded those in attendance that Romans 10: 13 tells us that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES AND CALLS UPON THE LORD WILL BE SAVED. Scripture does not say that salvation is for those who simply go to church every week or tithe or do "good" in their communities, rather it is for WHOSOEVER... Praise God we are whosoevers!
We had great meetings with On Wings Like a Dove, in continuing to work in what we believe God has placed on our hearts. Not only are we continuing to work with those incarcerated and their loved ones, but we are praying and gathering information on a MAJOR endeavor we believe God has placed before us. We believe that God has called us to establish a transitional facility for those released from incarceration to not only re-intergrate into society, but be surrounded by the love of Christ and receive his teachings from the Bible though this program. Imagine, a local center where prodigals returning to society can not only focus on establishing their lives again, but establishing a life pleasing to God; lives that God had planned for them before the foundation of the world. A life devoted to Jesus!
We were also blessed to speak at the On Wings Like a Dove Support Group for families of those incarcerated. While many thanks and appreciation were give to us that night, the blessing was for us. May God get all the glory and I believe we were the ones who walked out that evening knowing that God spoke to us that night. That group definitely gave me a greater insight as to what families of those incarcerated, including my own, experience during the incarceration of a loved one. It also reminded me of the POWER of prayer, and how God always hears the prayers of his people.
We have many prayer requests to lift up as well, but in an effort to not bombard our supports, we ask that you would simply lift up the needs of all those incarcerated and their families. There are some specific requests that have been asked and we will post those in the days to come.
Thank you all who support this ministry that God has graciously given us the opportunity minister through and we look forward to hearing from you and for your continued prayers. Again, thank you and may God be the Glory!
